Donation protected
At 2AM on March 9th, Krystal went to the kitchen to make a bottle for her youngest son, Zevin, and felt nauseous and like she was going to faint. She tried to rush back to the room to lay down, thinking it’d go away, but fainted in the hall. She broke her jaw in two places, knocked out one of her front teeth and cracked a molar to the nerve. By the grace of God, her husband, Coleton, was awake and heard her fall. He found her unconscious, not breathing, and covered in blood.
Coleton packed up all the kids and rushed her to the emergency room in Casa Grande; however, her injuries were so extensive she had to be transported by ambulance to the trauma hospital in Mesa for surgery to wire her jaw shut.
Krystal's surgery went well, but they had to remove the tooth next to the front tooth that came out during her fall. She is in extreme pain and still hospitalized until they can get her pain under control. She will have a long 12-week recovery, 4 of those weeks her jaw will be wired shut. Once everything is fully healed she will need to get two dental implants.
Krystal is a mom of 3 boys, she homeschools her older two sons, and runs their family tattoo shop. Coleton has to take time off work to take care of her and the boys, and the medical bills are stacking up rapidly. During this extremely difficult time, we want to help ease some of the financial strain while she recovers. We appreciate all of the outpouring of love and support for her and her family.
