My name is Justina.

Krystal has been my best friend for many, many years. To say I can't begin to fathom life without her is an absolute understatement. There aren't words to express how much I love her... How much her mother loves her, her children, her grandchildren. She is an amazing person with charisma and determination that can't be matched. She has not been handed an easy life and battles each and every day with dignity and grace.

She is my sister.

Not by blood.

But.

Choice.

She is an amazing woman. This is the second time she has battled this cancer that has now returned.

She is a determined warrior.

But she needs help.

She is the mother of 7 children:

Mariah, 16

Christian, 14

Zack, 12

Heaven, 9

Noah, 6

She was predeceased by her son, Tayshawn, who battled a rare genetic disorder, CLOVES syndrome, when he was 3 years old, and just on the cusp of 4, after several surgeries and having just started walking.

She is not eligible for long-term disability from the job she paid into for benefits due to it being a pre-existing medical condition, and can't pay her rent or bills at this time.

There are potential alternative therapies, also, which are costly, but she is so worth it.

I don’t want her struggle to interfere with her battle. She needs to be able to face this without the additional strain of worrying about finances, and focus on the battle she has, because she has a special spot in our hearts and we aren't ready to lose her yet.

Please, help me give my best friend a few less worries.

Her cancer is now stage four and she is currently on end-of-life care.
