Doctors suspect a severe neurological condition such as Guillain-Barré syndrome or another form of polyneuropathy, but answers remain uncertain as her body continues to fight. While Krystal battles this sudden and devastating paralysis, another reality is closing in just as quickly. As the sole provider for her and her youngest child, her inability to work has placed her in immediate financial crisis.
