Our sweet son Kru was recently diagnosed with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID), a rare and life-threatening condition that leaves him with little to no immune system. This means Kru is extremely vulnerable to infections, and even something as simple as a cold could be life-threatening. He will need specialized medical care and possibly a bone marrow transplant to survive and grow up healthy.
