Support Kristy's Recovery from Fire Loss

My name is Kristy, and I’m reaching out for support after a house fire turned my life upside down.

The fire was caused by old wiring in the rental home where I was living. Thankfully, I made it out safely — and for that, I’m incredibly grateful. While not everything I owned was lost to the flames, much of my home and belongings were damaged beyond use, especially due to water from putting out the fire. The result has left me displaced and facing the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding my life.

I do have renters insurance, and I’m hopeful that it will help cover some of the losses. However, insurance can take time to process, and right now I’m in immediate need of support — for temporary housing, replacing essentials, and getting through this transition period.
