UPDATE on Kristopher-

After long days of fighting so hard to heal, Kristopher passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 3:46pm.

When some swelling in his brain went down, they did another MRI this weekend and found that there is significant swelling and it had progressed far beyond the vision to many other areas of the brain. He would not only have no vision, but would no longer be able to walk or feed himself and he would be either wheelchair bound or bed bound. Kris and Becky, along with their children, made the decision to take him off life support. He fought for 18 hours breathing on his own. Kristopher fought til the very end. He is already so missed, he has touched so many lives.

Hi everyone. Many of you may know Kris and Becky Hoffman, their family, and their precious boy, Kristopher, pictured above. On Thursday October 3rd, 2024, Kristopher was rushed to the emergency room and later to the Sanford Children's Hospital.

Through many long hours, questions, and tests, it was discovered that Kristopher suffered 2 strokes, one on each side of his head. This caused extreme swelling of his brain, which led to the removal of a part of his skull.

There are still so many questions as to what caused this, but Kristopher seems to be stable at this time which is amazing news! However, there will be a long journey ahead for Becky, Kris, Kristopher, and his five siblings.
