Hello everyone,
Thank you very much for supporting us via sharing, interacting and financially contributing to my GoFundMe at such a transitional time for us.
It has been making an impact each time traction on this account happens.
Please help us if you are able to we would be relieved beyond measure to be blessed by the gift of financial support.
If unfamiliar, we are in the midst of a big move after a medical crisis of paralysis and mobility issues landed me in the emergency room and consequently on an extended leave from my work. It left us in quite a difficult position to cover our bills and we had to move with family temporarily after leaving our home.
Within my stay at the ER I got diagnosed with a condition called functional neurological disorder/pnes. I have had seizures every day since.
My seizure disorder makes it incredibly challenging to be alone, unattended for even short periods of time and there is not medication as a treatment option.
This is why seeking care that my small town doesn't provide is so critically important. I have difficulty with the use of my legs, getting around smoothly and unassisted.
This is on top of health challenges I've been facing quietly the past couple years. Fibromyalgia and FND make my day to day life a challenging one.
It is not only mobility, paralysis and seizures there's much more depth unfortunately.
Treatment options offered in larger cities leave me optimistic for my future progress.
With advanced speciality care available, help with my mobility and an array of services to improve my overall quality of life to one of independence again. That is my biggest hope.
A service dog is a costly tool but one that offers me my independence, reassurance so I can be left alone and gives peace of mind to my loved ones if I have any medical episodes.
Getting my family's lives back on track is on top of my to do list and that starts with us having stable housing, being near care that can offer me a huge improvement, and Brett relinquishing his caretaker roll and being back to work.
My family deserves stability and peace.
We are in a limbo period of services provided locally to us and while many prayers have been answered for us- we still need your help that isn't getting covered.
We need to get the funds for securing us in new, permanent housing and a service dog that gets us all back on track.
Both costly but achievable goals with the support of this space to ask my family, friends, community, and even strangers to embrace us with the help this GoFundMe provides for us.
