Hi, my name is Bobby. I’m raising money for my mother, Kristin Metzger. Who was a beloved teacher during her able years. She’s been disabled for 10+ years now due to severe scoliosis and arthritis. In August of 2023, there was in incidental finding of a tumor on her thymus.

We moved from Florida to New Mexico so she could see a specialist at the UNM comprehensive cancer center. Since then, she has been through so many tests and one biopsy, which was botched. They however, have concluded that she has cancer. A second biopsy is needed in order to determine what kind and stage it, but they do suspect that it’s lymphoma.

However, in the last 4 months medical bills have started to stack up, and trying to pay them off so she can see her doctors, we’ve fallen behind on monthly bills as well. We’ve had to postpone the biopsy twice now due to not having the funds for it. But it is necessary in order to get into an oncologist so that she can receive the correct care for her cancer.

So, I’m here asking for help so we can get this done and get her the help she needs to beat this.
