Support Kristina's Road to Recovery

Heather Bruce’s 16-year-old daughter, Kristina, was in a terrible car accident on her way to work on August 14th. She was med-flighted to Mass General Hospital in Boston. Thankfully, Kristina will recover but it will be a long road both physically and mentally. She has suffered multiple broken bones requiring surgery, a collapsed lung, contusions, lacerations and a concussion.

Kristina is a remarkable young woman who excels at everything she does. She is kind, an exceptionally smart student and a talented athlete focused on her love of basketball and soccer. What really sets Kristina apart is her character. She is humble and an amazing and selfless friend and teammate. She is coachable. She is the player everyone wants on their team because she brings so much to the game on and off the court/field. Kristina brings everything she has to everything she does, and she will be determined to fight for her recovery.

As a hospice nurse, Heather has supported many people and their loved ones during the most difficult time in life. She is one of the most compassionate, knowledgeable and professional nurses I have ever met, and a friend to everyone. She does this all while being a single mom raising an amazing daughter. It is now our time to support Heather and Kristina during one of their most challenging times.
