Kristina is one of the most kind, caring, and considerate people you could ever meet. She’s an amazing wife to her husband David and the world’s best mom to their 5-year-old son, Theo. Her sense of humor and positive attitude have always lifted up those around her, and she’s the friend who is always there to help anyone in need.
In September 2024, Kristina was diagnosed with oral cancer. She underwent major surgery in October, losing two-thirds of her tongue and enduring a complex reconstruction. Since then, she’s been unable to speak normally and relies on a feeding tube. Despite these challenges, Kristina bravely continued to work through 30 rounds of radiation. When her symptoms returned, a PET scan showed a new tumor growing in the back of her throat. She is now undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy, but the tumor continues to grow, causing constant fatigue, pain, and nausea. Kristina is no longer able to work, and her family is facing medical bills, travel costs for treatment, and expenses that insurance won’t cover.
David, her husband, has been by her side every step of the way—taking time off work, caring for Kristina and Theo, and managing the household. Their world has been turned upside down, and they are doing everything possible to stay strong for each other. Kristina’s hope is to finish treatments, possibly explore alternative treatments, and spend precious time with her family and friends. Your support will help ease their financial burden so they can focus on what truly matters: Kristina’s health and time together. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference for this incredible family.
