Support Kristina's Family's New Beginning

Hi my name is Kristina. I am a mother of five children with 3 of my children living with me also my grandson and husband looking to find help with a security deposit (before you list off a bunch of resources please read my story). Last August 2023 I was forced to move out of my previous residence because of a rat infestation problem to my current place. My previous landlord assured me a security deposit back but instead sent me a certified letter stating he was keeping it for a list of reasons (none of which made ANY sense and I had planned on taking him to court but the cost of doing so and the time and energy I would have invested to me wouldn't have been worth it) so I cut it as a loss. I explained my situation to my current landlord and he never asked again for one. Now living here was not where we ideally wanted to be but better then living with rats right? Well since the move I have had to pull my daughter out of high school and put her into a private school after battling the school department to press bullying charges on students who harassed my daughter and out of school to the point I had to put restraining orders on these girls. Then, I had to relocate my son who is autistic to Somersworth where his ABA program had moved and the commute alone has been exhausting because I'm going back and forth 3 times a day and my car isn't in the best shape to be honest.....let's not mention the cost of gas. The apartment I'm currently in was never a permanent solution just something temporary until we found a better place to accommodate all of us (we lack a tub which with 3 children under 10 and one with special needs it's rough). We have found a place but do not have the means to afford a security deposit because my husband is out of work because he stayed home to help me with our special needs so while I finished school (graduated last month) and we have no security deposit to transfer from our current place.

We have exhausted all outside resources CAP, Department of health and human services and even the towns. They are either out of funds or they ONLY help with first months rent NOT security deposit. We have also reached out to charities.

So now the only thing in the way of us getting our ideal dream apartment and get our children close to where there need to be is $2500. So please we are asking if anyone can help with anything to help raise money to make this possible for us we would be forever grateful and believe me when I say I won't stop here with this GoFundMe page. I will try my best to do whatever it takes for children because they deserve this.....we NEED this.
