Hi, my name is Stephanie Holtmeyer, and I’m organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of Kristin Vick and her family.

Kristin is a devoted single mother of four children who is currently facing an incredibly difficult and overwhelming situation. One of her teenage children is hospitalized indefinitely and has already undergone gallbladder removal surgery, now requires a G-tube, and continues to struggle with unknown and ongoing stomach complications. At this time, there is no clear timeline for recovery or discharge.

In order to be present for her child and support all four of her children during this crisis, Kristin has had to take a leave of absence from work as a school teacher. As a result, medical bills are mounting alongside everyday expenses such as rent, utilities, food, and transportation.

Kristin is doing everything she can to stay strong for her children, but the financial burden of unforeseen medical costs and lost income has become overwhelming. No parent should have to choose between caring for their child and keeping the lights on.

This GoFundMe is intended to help relieve some of that burden so Kristin can focus on what matters most—being there for her children and supporting her child’s healing.
