Hello, my name is Shane Owens, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read our story. My family and I have recently been blindsided by the news that my wonderful wife, Kristin, has been diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. Triple negative is the most aggressive form of breast cancer, with the least amount of treatment options. We have found a holistic cancer center that is willing to take her in. Unfortunately, the cancer center does not take insurance and comes with the heavy cost of $50,000 for treatment. The reason why we are trying to go the holistic route, instead of traditional treatment with chemo, is because the quality of life and trying to avoid destroying the good cells in her body and her immune system. She is a young mother of 2, and stay-at-home mom. She’s absolutely wonderful.
