Support Kristin: A Loving Mom, Grandma, Sister, Friend, Nurse, in Her Battle Against Metastatic Lung Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Supporters,

We are reaching out to ask for your help in supporting Kristin. Throughout her life, Kristin has dedicated herself to caring for others, both in her nursing career and in her personal life. Now, as she faces her toughest battle, she needs our support.

In August 2024, Kristin was diagnosed with lung cancer. With strength and unwavering faith, she underwent chemotherapy from October to December, determined to fight with everything she had. Despite her courage, unfortunately, the cancer has now metastasized, making her diagnosis palliative, there is no cure. Kristin started this week on a life-prolonging oral chemotherapy agent that is very caustic and costly that she will need to take twice a day for the rest of her life.

Kristin has spent her entire career selflessly serving others as a nurse, always putting others first, and caring for patients in their most vulnerable moments. She has been a source of strength and compassion for so many.

Beyond her work, Kristin is a loving mother and proud grandmother. Her greatest joy has been cherishing every moment with her family, instilling light and hope in those around her.

Now, faced with this devastating illness, Kristin has been forced to step away from her career and the calling she has loved. This has left her without an income to cover medical bills, COBRA insurance, rent, and daily living expenses. Our goal is to ease her financial burden so she can focus on what truly matters—spending precious time with her family and friends, embracing every moment with love and grace.
