Hi everyone! This is for the upcoming benefit for Kristin Drake that will be held at the Bridgewater Inn on February 21st at 4pm. We’ve been receiving a lot of messages on how people can help and that they wouldn’t be able to attend but would love to donate. So we figured this would be another way to give back to such an amazing person. For those of you who don’t know, this has been a very tough year for Kristin and her family and even tougher few months. All donations will be put towards medical bills/supplies and necessities.

Calling all friends:

Many of you know Kristin Drake.

For those of you who may not:

She is a life-long resident of the Bristol/New Hampton NH area, a hard working single mother of 3 and to put it simply a stellar member of the community.

For those that do know her:

Maybe you were fortunate enough to have Kristin in your life during that emergency when you needed a trusted friend to care for your children. Or the time your car broke down and there she was. How about that bad day you had when she asked if you were ok? Could she help? And genuinely meant it. Then the next time you saw her she had a jar of homemade garlic pickles just because (She was thinking of you).

The point being Kristin is a truly selfless individual who gives everything she can and asks for nothing in return.

What you may not know:

Kristin has been silently battling the painful effects of Crohn's disease for many years and unfortunately none of the previous treatments she received were improving her condition. In late December Kristin was rushed to Dartmouth Medical center where they performed a life-saving emergency surgery.

Yes, we nearly lost her. Through the grace of God and all your prayers Kristin is now home recovering and looking forward to returning to her normal life over the next few months. With that being said she could use a hand up to help with medical bills.

Words cannot express how thankful Kristin and the whole family is. She appreciates every single donation, share, and thoughtful message sent her way. Thank you all!
