Providing Love and Support for Brian’s Recovery
Donation protected
Many of you know my cousin, Kristin, her husband, Brian and their sons Gavin and Lucca. She’s a loving cousin who always shows up for her friends and family. She’s the picture taker to capture our most cherished memories. Her husband, Brian, is the guy that will be the first to get on the floor to play Pretty Princesses with my girls. What many of you don’t know is that one year ago on the morning of Mother’s Day Brian suffered a stroke and had to spend a week in ICU. The stroke left him with an array of health issues including two blood clots, blurry vision and trouble balancing making it impossible for him to return to work. In October, he suffered a major esophageal condition requiring yet another surgery that left him months later unable to eat or drink without becoming violently ill. Because that surgery failed him he was recently in need of another surgery, but this time would have been turned away if not for the support of his parents who were able to help financially when the hospital was going to cancel the surgery. Although Kristin returned to work full time after being home with their son, the medical bills have been an immense pressure to keep up with. This family could use some support as they navigate Brian’s challenging journey that will likely involve more medical care. I have setup this fundraiser to ease their worries about the mounting medical bills and help them focus on what truly matters: Brian’s healing and recovery. If you would be willing to donate toward helping Brian recover and get back on his feet, it would be greatly appreciated.
