She beat cancer once. Now she’s facing it again.

Kristie is a fighter! When she was 13 years old, she was diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT), a rare and aggressive form of cancer with only a 10-20% survival rate. Through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and a stem cell transplant, Kristie fought with everything she had — and she won. We thank God for His miraculous healing and for keeping Kristie and her family in His grace.

After her recovery, Kristie was able to live like a normal teenager again. She recently began attending community college and was on track to graduate next year with her Associates degree. She was filled with excitement for the future and all the possibilities ahead.

Seven years after beating cancer, Kristie is now facing stage 4 colon cancer. Her mother, Gladys, a single working-class mom, has to cut back to part-time work to care for her, leaving the family in urgent need.
