As many of you know life can literally change in an instant which is exactly what happened to our friend Kristian. On March 25, she was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and enlarged heart which was then followed by a TIA or mini stroke. While she anxiously awaits test results to determine the extent of the damage and what treatment, if any, is available to her she is suffering from symptoms that make it impossible for her to perform her job as a hair stylist.

We would like to convey to you a bit about the woman that we are seeking your help for. Kristian is a highly skilled artist and her clients miss her. Her skills are augmented by the fact that she is warm, engaging, spirited, and enthusiastic. She is blessed with a wonderful sense of humor which she uses to brighten the lives of others. Kristian is deeply caring and will often go out of her way to help others.

The path ahead is unknown. Treatment costs and everyday living expenses are mounting, and the financial burden is significant. Kristian hopes that she will be able to return to work but at this moment in time that is not guaranteed. We have started this GoFundMe campaign to raise money to help ease some of her burden and allow her to focus on her health.
