Support Kristian Through Medical Crisis

My name is Kristian, and I’m living with systemic lupus, lupus nephritis, and gastroparesis. These conditions have left me medically homebound, relying on a PICC line and a feeding tube for daily care. I’ve always loved writing, and while I try to do some freelance work, my treatment schedule and visual disturbances make it difficult to keep up. Writing was not just a way to help with expenses, but also my passion and creative outlet.

Most of my daily responsibilities fall on me, though my teenage son—who has high functioning autism—does what he can to help. Managing our household and my health alone is overwhelming, especially as I’m unable to work. The costs of living and copays for ongoing medical care add up quickly, and the stress of making ends meet is constant. With the first of July approaching, I’m especially worried about covering our rent and keeping our home stable during this difficult time.
