Hi, my name is Kristen, and asking for help like this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

I recently found myself in an unexpected and overwhelming situation where I’m on the brink of homelessness. I’ve been staying in a hotel because it’s the only option I have right now, but the cost is no longer sustainable. Each week feels like a countdown, and I’m running out of safe places to go.

I’m not alone in this — I have my dog with me, who depends on me completely. Finding stable housing that allows pets has been incredibly difficult, especially without reliable transportation. Right now, I don’t have a car, which makes getting to work, looking for housing, and accessing resources extremely challenging.

I am actively working and doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but the gap between income, housing costs, and basic transportation is more than I can bridge on my own. The funds raised will go toward:

• Securing stable housing or a room to rent

• Covering remaining hotel expenses while I transition

• Transportation needs, including saving toward a reliable vehicle

Any support — whether donating or sharing — would mean more than I can put into words. This is about safety, stability, and the chance to rebuild without losing everything I’ve worked so hard for.
