Support Kristen's Battle with Rare Autoimmune Disease

Hi, I’m Kristen, a respiratory therapist diagnosed with anti gq1b syndrome (Miller Fisher Syndrome) . I started experiencing vision loss at work back in November. I was initially hospitalized and diagnosed with MS, but six months later, I went into respiratory failure due to paralysis of my upper airway/vocal cords.
During my second hospitalization, I contracted a hospital-acquired infection. After 7 weeks , four hospitals, and lots of testing, I was finally diagnosed with my very rare autoimmune condition. I still have a demyelinating neurological condition as well, but at the moment I am still considered “undiagnosed”.
Meanwhile, my husband and children have been waiting for me to come home, hoping that this would be the last time I would have to be in the hospital for a long time.
As you can imagine, the hospital bills are overwhelming and with two small kids and missing nearly two months of work, these are hard times for our family. If all you have to give is a prayer, it is equally as appreciated. God bless y'all.
