Heather is starting this fundraiser for her sister, Kristen, after a sudden and devastating medical emergency. On Sunday, 9/13, Kristen was hospitalized with sepsis and went into septic shock. She remains in the ICU, sedated, and in critical condition. As her loved ones stay by her side, they are facing not only the emotional weight of this crisis, but also the growing financial strain that comes with it. Kristen has always been one of the first people to stop and help others, whether through prayer or by providing something someone needs.
