The San Diego Grateful Dead Community is raising funds to support our treasured sister and friend, Kristen Rosencrans in her fight against blood and bone cancer. Kristen is the wife of Electric Waste Band bassist, Bob Rosencrans who has been a part of the band for decades. They are part of the fiber of our local music community.

Kristen, Bob, and their two sons have faced this challenge for over a year. Kristen has had to give up her lifelong career as a full-time nurse to prioritize this fight for her life. The struggle continues as UCSD Medical teams utilize innovative treatment options to ensure the success of her bone marrow transplant that occurred last year.

Along with upcoming benefits and auctions, we are setting up this GoFundMe page to reach wide and far to the many fans who know and love her and those wanting to have a way to support their family in the face of medical and living expenses. This is not a short-term battle and the family's focus is 100% on her healing and her daily challenges.
