My sister, Krista Morris, also known to many as BeautynPain on social media, is a loving single mother of three beautiful children. On August 25, 2025, she welcomed her third child — her second son, Jaxxon — into the world. Despite the challenges of motherhood, Krista has always worked hard to provide for her family and build a better future for her children.

Krista was scheduled to return to work on Monday, January 12, 2026, to begin a new position as a Dialysis Clinical Technician — a moment that represented stability and hope for her family. Tragically, just days before that milestone, her life was turned upside down.

On January 9, 2026, while celebrating her sister-in-law’s birthday, Krista was struck by a stray bullet. The bullet shattered her femur, resulting in severe, life-altering injuries. She required emergency surgery, during which doctors placed a metal rod in her right leg to replace her destroyed femur.

As a result of this traumatic event, Krista is now bed-ridden and unable to walk, completely dependent on medical care and support. As a single mother, this has placed an unimaginable emotional and financial burden on her and her children.

While her employer has shown incredible compassion and has assured her that a position will be waiting for her when she is able to return, Krista currently has no income and still faces monthly bills, household expenses, and the daily needs of three children.
