Krista was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in November 2022. Since then, she's been battling nonstop to stay with Joe and her girls.

Recently, Krista’s cancer progressed to the point that her doctors felt that she was out of options. In search of treatment, they were forced to seek outside care from MD Anderson in Houston. Right now, Krista is working with doctors there to find out if she is a candidate for life saving surgery.

Insurance will only pay so much. Besides the cost of travel back and forth to Texas and this possible surgery, Krista has had multiple extended stays in the hospital at Huntsman. Even with help from her insurance, the medical bills from Krista’s fight against cancer have just kept piling up over the past 2.5 years.

We are hoping we can raise money to help with those costs. This would give Krista and Joe the ability to focus on doing everything they can to find a treatment for the cancer she is facing as she wants nothing more than to go back home to her girls.
