A tragic fire took the home of Krista and her family. Fortunately no one was injured. Unfortunately, they could not afford homeowner’s insurance, so our community is the best bet to get them back on their feet. Let’s show some support and help out this family who has been an integral part of the Ashland community their whole lives.

As the 4 kids start their school year, let’s show them they are supported by their friends, families, and neighbors.

! Update! Thank you to everyone who showed so much generosity. It really helped Krista keep her head up while she was gathering herself after this crazy event.

Krista Miller, my younger sister, will be using the money raised for a down payment on a new house. She has entrusted me to accept the money from this fundraiser so I can use the entire amount raised towards the house at closing.

We can’t thank everyone enough for their thoughtfulness in helping our family move forward from such an unexpected loss.
