Help Support Kristina (Krissy) Chadbourne Through Her Cancer Journey
Many of you may not yet know, but our dear friend Kristina Chadbourne (Krissy) was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. Thankfully, her prognosis is good, but the road ahead will be incredibly challenging. She’ll be undergoing six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, followed by two years of immunotherapy.
During those initial six weeks, Krissy will be unable to work — the treatments will be exhausting, both physically and emotionally. And while she hopes to regain some normalcy afterward, the immunotherapy will likely continue to keep her out of work for the foreseeable future.
Krissy has most recently been working as a preschool teacher, pouring her heart into nurturing and guiding young children. Sadly, she also recently lost her beloved mother to breast cancer, making this diagnosis even more painful and personal.
Now, more than ever, Krissy needs our help. We’re raising funds to support her and her family — to help cover daily expenses, bills, and childcare for their five-year-old son Leo — so that she can focus on healing, without the weight of financial stress.
Who Krissy Is
If you know Krissy, you know she is absolutely one-of-a-kind. She’s eccentric, hilarious, and has a magnetic energy that lights up every room she enters. Even in the darkest moments, Krissy is the one cracking jokes and keeping everyone else going. She’s the person who will do anything to make others laugh — and now it’s our turn to lift her spirits and help keep a smile on her face during this incredibly difficult time.
She’s a devoted wife to Andrew and the proud, loving mom of little Leo. She’s someone who shows up — for her family, her friends, and her students — and we want to make sure she feels that same love and support coming back to her now.
