Kris is known and loved by so many. For those of you wondering where she has disappeared to for the last few months, this is her story.

In late January 2025, Kris was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometrial Adenocarcinoma that had metastasized into her lungs. She started chemotherapy and immunotherapy pretty swiftly with the mindset that she was going to beat this no matter what she had to do.

Nine weeks into her treatment was her follow-up CT scan to see how the chemo was working for her. We were informed that the therapy had not done anything for her and that the cancer was continuing to grow and spread further fairly fast.

Kris's health was declining quickly, and we ended up back in the hospital at the end of April through the beginning of May. The cancer has spread to her brain and caused some swelling, which has made her ability to communicate difficult. Loss of speech and confusion, yet she was able to nod yes and no and still comprehended everything that was being said to her. We were sent home and got set up with hospice care where she is comfortable and surrounded by family for her final days.

Kris unfortunately did not have medical insurance, and this unexpected tragedy has stacked up quite a bit in hospital bills.

I would also really love to be able to plan a memorial for her and have the opportunity to hear from those who loved and cared for her. This GoFundMe is solely for those purposes. Truly, anything helps, but most of all, know she loved and cared about so many.

Update - Kris passed peacefully Friday May 16th around 10pm surrounded by loved ones.
