Went to dr appt. The admitted him again . Dehydrated from not being able to drink without gagging. Can barely eat. Pretty much he struggles to ingest anything by mouth. Hopefully these couple days of iv fluids will help. Liver is working fine..

May 9th...we finally got him home..still a long road ahead. Thank everyone for all your help and shares. It's greatly appreciated

As of today. May 5th....we just left the rehab facility where we told as of now he should be able to come home Friday the 9th. Unfortunately the insurance will NOT be covering the supplies he will need since they are available at stores for anyone..so they say. We will have buy everything..from a wheelchair to shower chair..chucks...a cane. A walker..and a ramp to get him up and down the stairs to get into the house. We will not be able to carry him or we would. Please share. And reach out with any questions. Everything helps

4/25/25. He is finally in avon rehab! 9 more days and hopefully he can come home. He is struggling to walk and get around. After 3 months sruck in a bed it will take time to rebuild the lost muscles. Financially still stuck. Disability is taking their sweet time. As always... still in need of support till they get it approved. Every dollar helps. The family thanks every single person for their support and shares.

Update as of 4/12....he is still in Cleveland at the hospital..he is in a regular room. They are looking to move him to a rehab facility this week closer to home. They say it's gonna be several months for him to be back to normal. Yes we did his disabily, which we all know can take months itself. It's gonna be a long road...a slow summer and a lot of therapy. After being in a hospital bed since mid February he has lost over 100 lbs. Which is great..but he also lost muscle in his legs..he is strong and working on it everyday..he did actually walk with assistance about 20 steps..which is a huge thing. I want to thank everyone for keeping this family in prayers and thank you for sharing. We are far from the goal. But hopefully in time we can reach it.

Update as of 4/7 ...he finally got out of icu.. he is in a regular room now ..still in Cleveland..but they've removed many of the ports and drains. After 7 weeks he has made it to the top and now to get the rehab started..get him home soon we hope.

New update: he did get the transplant done..it was done by 5am this morning...right before the transplant they found his kidneys to be affected also. They started him on dialysis...he still has about 2 weeks or more in the transplant icu/hospital... they said it was gonna be a hard long road ahead...he may never work again..if so it will be at least a year. He will have to learn to walk and sit up ect. If everyone could share...these companies don't care if your dying or not..there are zero breaks. And we are absolutely strapped. They did finally find out he has Wilson's disease..if not caught it would have went to his brain. Thank God it was caught before that. Please consider sharing and donating if possible. Even 1$ can add up. The wife hasn't been able to work her normal hours and we've called all their bills collectors to no avail. All donations will be used to cover their expenses through this hard time. Thank you everyone for you help

he is still waiting for a liver that matches. His jaundice is getting worse. They are having issues finding a B negative match. Please share..every little bit helps.
My son-in-law Kris has experienced a landslide of bad medical news in the past 4 weeks. What started out as bleeding through nosebleeds turned out to be internal bleeding. After weeks in the ICU, platelets dropping to 1, and 3 hospital transfers, we found out he has liver issues, cirrhosis, and a spleen being 3x normal size, among other side effects. He is now at UH in Cleveland with the liver specialist. They did a biopsy yesterday and we're waiting on the results. He has NEVER drank or done any drugs. They are testing him for Wilson's and the transplant team is now involved. He has always worked and taken care of his family. Now he can't and is still awaiting approval for medical coverage. His wife has had to cut down on her work to be by his side as much as possible. The family is doing everything we can to assist.

The worst part is the driving back and forth to Cleveland, the parking charges, and making sure they eat something. The fact that his bills are still going, since those never stop, is overwhelming. We are attempting to raise enough to cover his expenses, as still having no medical coverage is a huge problem. If nothing more than a prayer, we hope he gets better. We appreciate every thought and prayer. Thank you. If you have any questions about this, please shoot me a message. I will gladly answer anything I am able to.
