Help Me Stay Enrolled and Continue My Graduate Education

Hi, I am an international graduate student pursuing my education in SLU, United States. I am reaching out with humility and hope during an unexpected financial emergency that now puts my education and my student status at serious risk.

I have always taken my academic responsibilities seriously and planned my education through approved education loans. My first semester was successfully funded, and I remained in good academic standing. However, for my current semester, the lender(prodigy) that previously supported me and who pre-approved my loan declined to release further funds due to insufficient funding availability on their end, despite my eligibility and repayment history. Due to unexpected loan denials and delays for my current semester, I am facing a sudden tuition shortfall that I was not prepared for despite applying to multiple funding sources.

I am actively working with my university’s financial and international student advisors to resolve this situation. I have already paid $500 out of pocket toward my tuition as a show of commitment, but I am required to pay a larger portion urgently in order to remain enrolled.

As an international student, maintaining enrollment is essential to keeping my student visa status valid. If the required payment is not made on time, my enrollment could be canceled, which would place my student status at risk and force an interruption of my education that I have worked very hard for. I was given to clear my dues with March 2026. I do not even have a much time.
