March Madness - Support Krishna's Mission for Homeless Pets

Hello. My name is Krishna Ramson and I'm a junior at DeMatha Catholic High School. I proudly serve as a Varsity Basketball Manager. I am also an Eagle Scout with Troop 1657 at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, and the President of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Bowie Mitchellville Alumni Chapter's Kappa League. My family adopted a dog from the Prince George's County Animal Shelter and having a dog was one of the best parts of my childhood. The animal shelter has many pets who need a good home. I wondered how I could help homeless pets find a happy home like my dog did. I decided to raise money to buy gift cards for new families who adopt a pet from the shelter. I'm hoping that the gift cards can offset some of the expenses of adopting a pet and give prospective adoptive families an incentive to adopt a pet. Today, I'm asking you to support homeless pets by entering your pet in my "Best Dressed" photo contest. Each photo entry is $20. Entries should be emailed (see flyer). Please include your pet's name and your email address. The entry fee of $20 should be paid through this Go Fund Me page. Pet photos will be used to make a photo reel for this fundraiser. No pet? No problem! You can still support homeless pets by making a donation of $1 or more. Hurry, the contest/donations end at 11pm on Saturday March 29, 2025. The announcement of the first place prize of $200 and second place prize of $100 will be made by email notification on Sunday March 30, 2025 before 11pm. Thank you in advance for your support.
