Kris Lynn Ulik, age 52 of Neosho Wisconsin, was called home to Jesus on February 12th, 2025, surrounded by her family.
On May 11th, 2024, Kris suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed and would ultimately steal her ability to communicate. Kris never wavered during this time in her life in the love she had for her beautiful family until going home to rest in heaven. Mother to four adoring daughters, and loving wife to her husband Chad, Kris is remembered fondly by all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love and perseverance.
Kris was born in Milwaukee, on December 2nd, 1972, to parents Kathryn and Jim Brown.
Kris was a familiar face in her community, working at the rec- center as a lifeguard before moving on to serve in the Army National Guard. Kris always considered her biggest achievement to be qualifying for and competing in the Boston Marathon in 1998. Kris received her Nursing degree from Marian University in Fon Du Lac Wisconsin, and soon after started her career at Aurora. She continued her career and is honored for the 19 years she spent working in the ER and MRI at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Kris is survived by her loving husband and high-school sweetheart, Chad. Married in 2000, Kris and Chad celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary together on January 8th, 2025. She is further survived by her daughters, Monica Brown, Julia Ulik, Rebekah Ulik, Mia Ulik; granddaughter, Kathryn Brown; and brother Jeffrey Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn and Jim Brown.
Per Kris’s wishes her family will be scattering her ashes at Siesta Key Beach, one of her favorite places.
