Kris has always been the kind of person who puts everyone else first. She’s the friend, neighbor, and family member who never hesitates to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or show up when someone needs her most.
Kris is facing an aggressive breast cancer diagnosis. She’s scheduled for surgery this month, and as someone who is retired and living on a fixed income, the road ahead is filled with uncertainty and financial stress. It’s time we show up for her the way she shows up for those she cares about.
Just last year, Kris bravely underwent surgery to remove a kidney due to a benign tumor. Now, she’s preparing to fight yet another battle. Despite everything, Kris remains strong and positive, always thinking of others before herself. But this time, she needs our help. The funds raised will go directly toward her medical bills, everyday expenses, and, if possible, cold caps to help her keep her hair during chemotherapy because undergoing a mastectomy is already enough to handle as a woman. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in Kris’s journey and help ease the burden she’s carrying.
If you know Kris, you know she hates asking for help. That’s why I’m reaching out on her behalf. It’s time we show up for her the way she’s always shown up for us. She’s the toughest cookie I know, and with your support, I know she’ll be kicking cancer’s ass. For now, please don’t reach out to Kris directly—she needs to focus on getting through this, and your support here means the world.
Thank you for standing with Kris and giving her the strength to keep fighting.
Now everybody, say it with me “fuck cancer!”
Please contact me directly or Alex with any questions or for updates.
