Hi everybody. My name is Kris Gifford. I have Becker's Muscular Dystrophy. Over the last several months, I have become much weaker and am finding it very difficult to get in and out of bed to/from my chair due to height and gravity without help from my mom.

I will need to purchase a hospital bed that can be adjusted up and down so I can transfer off/on and also be adjusted into various positions to help with sleeping and dressing. This bed will allow me to remain fairly independent and help alleviate some physical and mental stress on my mother and me.

I hope to raise 1000 dollars to help purchase a hospital bed and patient lift for transfers when necessary. Please donate whatever you can and/or share this with your friends, church, businesses, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to check out this fund.
