Joseph is starting this fundraiser for Krimson, his best friend and the beloved owner of a sandwich shop that has been part of Watkinsville and Athens for more than 20 years. Krimson recently tore her ACL while mountain biking and now needs surgery. On top of the physical pain and recovery ahead, she will need to close her shop for at least a week while she heals. For someone who has poured so much of herself into her business and her community, this unexpected setback is a heavy burden.

Anyone who knows Krimson knows she is much more than a business owner. She has supported artists in the area, created a welcoming place for elderly neighbors and younger folks alike, and become a true bedrock in the community. This fundraiser will help cover the cost of surgery and related medical expenses, support her employees while the shop is closed, and help with Krimson’s lost income during recovery.
