Support Krantz's Recovery from Stroke

Hi, I’m Krantz. I’ve always been the nice, hermit type of guy. I just go to work and go home mostly. I like books, movies and video games. I made less than $20000 last year and being poor I’ve always found a way to make budgets work. However, I am a bit overwhelmed at my current situation.

On June 16th, Father’s Day, at 34 years old, I suffered a stroke. I have not been able to work since, and my follow up isn’t even scheduled until August. I don’t have insurance and I already know I’ll be taking some medication for an extended period if not forever. I still haven’t found a primary care physician and I’m trying to get insurance.

Being younger I have recovered pretty well with physical therapy and occupational therapy. I mean I won’t be jogging or jumping anytime soon, but I move well enough for basic daily tasks. My hand and arm are the areas I focus most on bc my writing is painful and slow (but I do have a fracture in that hand as well).

I hate asking for help especially financially. Anything you can give will help cover my current and future medical bills, and maybe some extra for groceries and other cost of living bills. Right now I have just a little over a grand. My current medical bills are around $16,000. Which is way less than if the hospital’s case workers didn’t fight for me, but it’s still a heavy amount.

Im not sure when I’ll be approved to go back to work or if I’ll have to change the type of work I do. But again absolutely anything will help. Thank you so much for any help and any prayers. Also sorry if this isn’t well written.
