On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, our 6-year-old corgi, Kylo, began vomiting blood. We rushed him immediately to the emergency veterinary hospital. After blood work and X-rays, the vets discovered that Kylo had eaten a large amount of grass and required urgent surgery to remove it.

This emergency came with overwhelming costs. Between the diagnostic tests and the surgery, the total bill came to approximately $5,000.

We recently lost one of our oldest dogs, and we could not bear the thought of losing another beloved family member. Kylo means the world to us, and we did everything we could to save him.
