My name is Korynn Triplett, and a little over two years ago, I was widowed at 22 years old. I was very newly pregnant with twins, and at a loss for what my life would be. I experienced firsthand what it is to be battered and broken, brutally ripped asunder, and destined to never be the same.

After my husband died, my babies grew and were born precious and perfect. I have never experienced such bittersweet blessing. Joy slowly reentered my heart. And with that joy, returned creativity.

I turned to music to tell my story, because unfortunately, nearly every heart has been touched by grief. I want to tell the narrative that grief is heavy but doesn't have to be lonely. So many other people have felt their lives dance the waves of grief. I want to show them there can be peace in the pain, and joy in the mourning.

This project is called, "Grief Will not Win." The first piece of the album, "Screeching Halt" has been produced and released. While I am so grateful for the opportunity to produce even this song, it is only one part of the story I believe I am called to tell.

These funds would cover payment to producers, and studio time, to create six more songs.
