Hi, my name is Kori, and I am a mother who is fighting with every part of her heart to be reunited with her daughter.

For the past six months, I have been separated from my daughter amid ongoing conflict following my decision to file for divorce from her father. Despite repeatedly seeking an opportunity to be fully heard, the court has not yet set a trial or evidentiary hearing where I can present my evidence, advocate for a child abuse expert and advocate for our relationship.. I have not been able to see her, hold her, or hear her voice the way a mother should. Each day without her feels heavy and painful. The silence, the distance, and the uncertainty have been heartbreaking. No parent should have to live without their child when all they want is to love, protect, and be present.

I have done everything within my power to navigate this legal process responsibly, peacefully, and in my daughter’s best interest. I have remained committed to healing, growth, and cooperation. My only goal has ever been to protect her emotional well-being and to restore our relationship in a healthy, safe, and loving way.

Despite my efforts, the legal system has failed both of us. I have been fighting on my own for more than two years. The court has repeatedly denied me due process. This has been overwhelming, expensive, and emotionally exhausting. I have often felt unheard and denied fair opportunities to fully advocate for myself and my child. As a single mother, I simply do not have the financial means to continue this fight alone.
