Support Kori's Fight Against Brain AVM

My name is Christy and I have had the honor of being Krista's friend since 4th grade. I created this Go Fund me as a way to love and support her precious daughter Kori and the family during this battle.

As many of you know, Krista's sweet daughter, Kori, has been working with doctors since January for treatment of an AVM on her brain.

An AVM is an irregular mass of veins and arteries. Her brain AVM is restricting blood flow and causing high pressure on critical areas of her brain.

During the course of treatment Kori has suffered a stroke and numerous seizures. She has undergone multiple procedures and surgeries. On 4/4/2024 she suffered a massive seizure and has remained in a coma like state since.

The decision was made to fly Kori to an AVM world renowned specialist in Arizona where she will undergo an 8 - 12 hour surgery to remove the AVM. Kori arrived on Thursday, May 23rd via air ambulance. Krista and Lauren arrived on Sunday, May 26th to continue to be by her side. Without this surgery they fear Kori will not regain consciousness.

Kori is a vibrant, brilliant, amazing young woman who is going through a difficult and unimaginable situation. I am setting this site up to help Krista and Lauren be by her side and not worry about food, hotel, gas, etc. This fund will also help Kori with the medical bills that continue to buildup.
