We’ve created this fundraiser for our cousin Korbyn and his family during a season no family should ever have to face.
Korbyn is 13 years old and truly one of the strongest, happiest kids you’ll ever meet. Since November, he’s been in and out of the hospital, over an hour from home, facing serious complications related to his kidney transplant, multiple surgeries, dialysis, and an aggressive battle with post-transplant lymphoma. While I haven’t lived this journey myself, I’ve watched it closely. I’ve seen Korbyn carry so much with a smile on his face, and I’ve seen the toll it’s taken on everyone who loves him. His parents, Matt and Molly, have been by his side around the clock, essentially living at the hospital while navigating long stays, ICU visits, and ever-changing treatment plans.
At the same time, life outside the hospital hasn’t stopped. Korbyn’s sisters, Raylee and Ella, have been incredibly strong, with the support of Manda, Gav, Mamaw & Pop. In the middle of all of this, Korbyn’s dad and stepmom are preparing to welcome a new baby this April and are in the process of building their family’s home. This journey has brought significant financial strain—travel, meals, time off work, and ongoing medical expenses. This fundraiser helps relieve some of that burden so the family can focus on what matters most: Korbyn’s healing. We believe in the Lord and His power to heal, and we are so grateful for the village surrounding Korbyn with prayers, love, and support. If you feel led to give, any amount truly helps.
