On Monday, September 8th, my cousin Korben was on his way to a physical therapy appointment when he was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. While riding his motorcycle, he was struck by a van, thrown under the vehicle, and the back tire tore off his helmet. Korben survived, but he suffered devastating injuries: a shattered ankle and foot requiring multiple surgeries, a fractured shoulder and pelvis, and severe road rash over much of his body.

Korben now faces a long, painful recovery and may never regain full mobility. The driver responsible has not been found, and his family is left to cover mounting medical bills while supporting his healing process. We are asking for help to relieve some of this burden and give Korben the best chance at recovery.
