On 29th January 2026, Konstantinos suffered a severe skiing accident, resulting in a fracture-dislocation of his spine.

Whilst he had fantastic, rapid rescue off the mountain and a spinal fusion surgery at Grenoble Hospital which prevented any further damage, this injury has caused a devastating spinal cord injury, leaving him paralysed from the base of his ribs down. Once healed from his surgery, Konstantinos' home will need to be adapted for his disability, and he will likely need life-long treatment and rehabilitation for his paraplegia.

Anyone who knows Konstantinos knows he is a vibrant, funny and caring person. He's a bright light to everyone's life and is so loving. Throughout this, he has been so strong and kept smiling, despite the uncertainty ahead of him. We are so incredibly thankful for the support and love that he and the family have already received so far.
