Support Kon's Recovery from Major Surgery
Donation protected
On September 26th, my husband Kon had flu-like symptoms . One week later, after no relief, he agreed to go to the emergency room. He was admitted for dehydration, and after several tests, he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Two days later, he was sent home with antibiotics and feeling much better.
Fast forward to Tuesday, October 15, he was having extreme abdominal, chest, and back pain, very weak, and couldn't keep anything down. I rushed him to the emergency room. After multiple tests and CT scans, the Dr. informed him he would undergo immediate emergency surgery. The Dr. explained how he would have to leave his stomach open if he was not able to locate the perforations because of the severity of his condition. After four long hours, we learned that his large intestine was completely destroyed and had to be surgically removed.
Kon has always done his best to provide for us. Our weekends consist of driving our kids to their baseball games. He has always helped friends and family in need. Kon gave his life for our country in the Armed Services. He is deeply loved by many and leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets. He remains in good spirits, showing incredible strength during this challenging time. We are praying and wishing him a smooth recovery and are committed to getting him the best care possible. As we navigate this difficult journey, we humbly ask for your prayers and support. All donations will go towards his medical and living expenses to help him focus on physical therapy without worrying about mounting medical bills and the stress of lost income. We thank you for your generosity, and God bless.
