What's This All About?
Becoming a 'Patron of the Arts' at Koneksi means you will be funding Whidbey's local creative scene, helping it grow, diversify, and push beyond the norm. Your donated funds will create:
- Access for youth and young adults to experience an open mic night catered to them
- Opportunities for musicians of all ages to book paid performances
- Space for multi-disciplinary creatives to collaborate on projects and performances
- Economic opportunities for artists of varied backgrounds to showcase their art and wares locally
- Opportunities for working artists and craftsmen to host workshops and classes
- Space for community members to access the arts in a low pressure environment
- Low-cost and free events for the community
Our vision is to build a more resilient community, where access to art, music, resources, connection, and the joy of curiosity and creativity, are readily available. We recognize a growing need on South Whidbey for community spaces that youth and young adults can easily access and enjoy, and hope you will help us in making this a sustainable endeavor.
