Hey, I’m Araya. I live in a rural area; emergency services are sporadic and scarce for both humans and fur babies. I work full-time and still find plenty of time for my “kids”.

So what brings me here now is my dog Kona. She is a German Shepherd Border Collie. She weighs in at roughly 35-40 pounds depending on a few things, but yeah.

Today, my boyfriend and I decided we were going to finance a new phone for both of us. We spent every bit of money we could without leaving us with absolutely nothing. We have just enough to get us gas for to and from work and food.

So while we were doing the finishing things to transfer phone numbers from carrier to carrier… Kona was attacked by 2 Bully Breed dogs.

This happened at 6:45 right when everything was closing… It’s currently 11:30 on 9/15. The nearest vet opens at 8 am on 9/16. We’ll be taking her to a vet right when they open. She’s currently stable and responsive but has a head injury and some deep tissue lacerations on her legs…

I’m extremely concerned about her and my ability to help her financially… You can’t prepare for this stuff… ever…

Even just a dollar helps.

I will update with consistent pics of her recovery once we get there. For now, as a pet owner, I’m watching the worst thing I could ever… my best friend suffer in great pain…
