The pandemic has hit hard for both locations of Kona Kitchen after co-owner, Elizabeth Mar, and her husband Robert both passed away in March after contracting the virus. 

Angela and Yuji Okumoto are now running both restaurants and working hard to ensure that both customers and employees stay healthy and safe.

The funds raised will be used to help pay for updated floor plans, signage, PPE, protective barriers, and everything needed to comply with the orders and recommendations set forth by the county health departments and the state of Washington.
