Support Kolten's Fight Against Medulloblastoma

Donation protected
Kolten was diagnosed with Group 3 Medulloblastoma in October of 2024. Prior to diagnosis, he was a bright, funny, sweet little boy. The day he underwent tumor resection was the day his life changed forever. He developed a condition known as posterior fossa syndrome. This condition ranges in severity from mild to severe. In Kolten’s case, it is/was horrific. It has left him with the inability to breathe, swallow, speak, and move normally. He is 5 months post-op currently and is trach/vent, g-tube, and wheelchair dependent. He still doesn’t speak. He cannot sit up unassisted. Our little boy as we know him was completely ripped away from us.

On top of that, we are dealing with the absolutely devastating reality of a child with an aggressive cancer diagnosis and the treatment that comes with that. Kolten is about to be admitted for 3 additional rounds of high-dose chemo and 3 stem cell transplants. This will be about 3 months of aggressive inpatient treatment.

Kolten is being treated at Duke University Hospital, which is multiple hours from our home. Up until this point, we have been lucky enough to stay at the Ronald McDonald House, which has been a true blessing for our family. Unfortunately, policies have changed, and we have recently been told we will not be able to stay there any longer.

We are asking for donations to offset the cost of lodging for our family, which will be several thousand dollars a month without help. We are grateful for anything that can be given to our family during this time.
