Kolby is a fun-loving 10-year-old who enjoys everything from video games and family game nights to camping, fishing, golfing, and swimming. He loves being outdoors, spending time with the people he loves most, and if you ask him his favorite color, he'll proudly tell you it's light blue. His favorite animals are cats, and he has the kind, caring spirit that makes everyone around him smile.

Recently, what started as severe back pain turned into every parent's worst nightmare. After multiple appointments, tests, and imaging, doctors discovered a large mass and additional concerning findings that require ongoing testing and treatment. Kolby has already undergone a biopsy, and his family is now waiting for answers while working closely with the medical team at Children's Mercy.

As many of you can imagine, this unexpected medical journey has placed an enormous emotional and financial burden on the family. Between missed work, travel expenses, meals, parking, medical costs, and everyday household bills, the stress is overwhelming. Right now, our goal is to help ease some of that burden so Kolby's family can focus on what matters most—being by his side and supporting him through every step of this journey.
