Hi! My name is Kolbey Daniel I’m 20 years old, for a long time, I wasn’t quite sure what direction I wanted my life to take — except for one thing: I’ve always known I want to serve the Lord. Growing up, everyone around me seemed to have their plans figured out early on. By sophomore year, most of my friends already knew which big university they were headed to. But for me, college never felt like the right path. I always felt a little different for not wanting to go that route, and for a while, I wondered what that meant for my future.

Then, God showed me my university — YWAM (Youth With A Mission)! YWAM is a faith-based program where I’ll be attending school in Hawaii to dive deeper into God’s Word, grow in my relationship with Jesus, and become a disciple in training. For several months, I’ll be studying the Bible on a deeper level and learning what it truly means to live out my faith every day.

After my time in training, I’ll take everything I’ve learned and share it across the nation — spreading the love of Jesus to children, adults, and families who may have never even heard His name. As a Christian, I wholeheartedly believe this is what I’ve been called to do, and I’m stepping out in faith to follow where God leads me.
